Purpose of This Site
NorthCedarLine collects and organises technical information on greenhouse construction for Poland’s colder climate zones. The focus is on decisions that have direct consequences in sustained cold: foundation depth and type, glazing material selection, and heating system configuration.
The site is structured around articles that address specific construction topics rather than general overviews. Each article cites the Polish or European standard relevant to the subject matter and notes where local climate data, specifically frost depth, snow load and temperature range, differs from western European norms that are often the default in manufacturer documentation.
What This Site Does Not Cover
NorthCedarLine does not cover crop growing, horticulture management, or commercial business topics. The content is limited to the physical construction of the greenhouse structure and its primary environmental systems. It does not represent a design or engineering consultancy.
All content is informational. Any structural or engineering decision should be verified with a licensed professional and checked against the current version of applicable regulations, including the Polish Construction Law (Prawo budowlane) and the relevant Eurocodes as published by PKN (Polski Komitet Normalizacyjny).
Content Updates
Articles are reviewed when relevant standards are updated or when new material becomes available. The last review date is noted at the top of each article. This site does not publish a news feed or commentary.
